Lacson made that declaration as an assurance to his senate collegues that Lozada will testify in the Senate hearings. It is likewise in the Senate records that Lozada claimed that he decided only to testify before the Senate after Mike Defensor met him at the Brothers' House at the De La Salle compound at Green Hills, San Juan. At the very least, one of them is lying. If it was Lozada, then, he set up Atienza and Razon when he asked that he be provided security upon his arrival at the airport. It could seem that he had planned to charge the government of "kidnapping". It would seem that he followed a pre-written script. I hate to see people diverting the issue by digging on the sins of the witness, particularly so when the ones doing it are well-known lagdogs and even more sinners than Lozada. We want to know the truth, so all righteous and honest men should protect the credible witness against harassments. The CBCP should be commended for this act of support for Lozada.
